Welcome to Five Mile Lake Lodge & Goldie Lake Outpost
Just 25 miles south of Chapleau, our main lodge, which has been in operation since 1957, is located on the shores of Five Mile Lake and offers outstanding fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass and Whitefish. We offer 16 foot steel boats for your fishing and boating pleasure, each equipped with swivel seats, paddles, anchors, safety kits and reliable 9.9 h.p. Mercury outboard motors.

The many back-lakes and streams in the area offers tremendous Northern Pike fishing, as well as Brook Trout, Lake Trout and Walleye angling. Our outpost on Goldie Lake offers some of the best fishing for trophy Northern Pike in the region and you will also find very good fishing for Lake Trout and Smallmouth Bass at this secluded location.
The Chapleau Crown Game Preserve, which is the largest game preserve in the world, is just north of our wilderness location. Also known as the Black Bear Capital of the World, our black bear hunters enjoy a very high success rate. Moose and Grouse hunting is also available at our lodge.
Our main lodge offers clean and comfortable, fully equipped housekeeping cottages with nice size decks for your outdoor relaxation. Camping on the shores of Five Mile Lake in our well-treed sites is enjoyed throughout the season.
